Bailey Named GVAC W.O.W.

INDIANAPOLIS- The Greyhounds' Logan Bailey was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Wrestler of the Week, announced by the league Tuesday. 

Bailey, who earns his first career GLVC Wrestler of the Week honor, went 3-0 with a pair of pins at last week's NWCA National Duals. In addition to the two pins, Bailey also notched a win over two-time All-American Jake Barzowski of St. Cloud State. The UIndy starter at 149 is currently ranked #9 in the NWCA Coaches rankings, and is 23-4 on the season with 14 pins. The last GLVC Wrestler of the Week from the Greyhounds was Derek Blubaugh, who earned the honor the first week of this season.

The Greyhounds host GLVC action Sunday, with William Jewell and Ouachita Baptist coming to the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center for duals. Davenport has pulled out of the event due to health and safety concerns in their program.
