Indiana Ironman Results

41 wrestlers from Indiana took their talents to Ohio to wrestle in the Walsh Ironman Tournament, regarded as one of the toughest in-season tournaments in the country. History was made Saturday night as Lawrence North's Michael White became the first wrestler from Indiana to win this prestigious tournament. White took out the 4th, 5th, and 9th-ranked wrestlers in the country at 190 pounds on his way to a title. White's weight also featured the top-ranked kid inthe country as well as the 8th. White was joined later that night by Westfield's Connor Maddox, who took the title at 106 pounds. Maddox dominated his way into the finals with a pair of tech-falls and a major decision. Maddox scored a quick takedown in sudden victory to take a 9-6 decision over 19th-ranked Cohen Reer of Ohio in the finals. The third finalist for Indiana was Avon's Nathan Rioux, who gave top-ranked Jayden Raney his only competitive match all weekend.
