Kervin NAIA Wrestler of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Indiana Tech's Jonathan Kervin was named the NAIA Men's Wrestler of the Week after his impressive performance at the Missouri Valley Invite last weekend.

Over the two days, Kervin went 6-0, defeating three top 15 ranked wrestlers in his weight class, including No. 2 (defending national champion), 6, and 14. He would pick up two wins by pins, one by a tech fall, and three by decisions. The redshirt sophomore from Floyd Knobs, Indiana went on to win the Missouri Valley Invite as champion of the 165-pound weight class.

Kervin and the Warriors will now look to a run of WHAC matchups over the next couple of weeks, starting with Cornerstone University on Friday, January 26th in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
