Vermillion Named WHAC W.O.W.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Tech senior Eric Vermillion was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Wrestler of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Vermillion went 5-0 at the NAIA Challenge Duals this past weekend, recording two pins and two tech falls. Both of his pins came in the first period while his two tech falls were in the second.

It's the first time in his career that he has won the weekly conference award. He earned Wrestler of the Week honors from the Sooner Athletic Conference as a freshman back on November 14, 2018 and also garnered NAIA National Wrestler of the Week honors that same time as well.
